BBNaija star, Anita Natacha Akide, better known as Symply Tacha, has paid homage to Ghana, the country she calls her motherland as the country celebrates its 65th independence.
Tacha has already declared her passion for Ghana and remains to do so whenever she has the opportunity.
Fans have asked if she has ties to Ghana, and all signs point to the vocal television reality star having maternal ties to the country.
Sadly, she has lost both of her parents.
Symply Tacha proudly proclaimed her ready for Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations by sharing two stunning images of herself dressed in traditional Ghanaian attire.
Sharing the photos she wrote: “Happy Independence Day Ghana My Motherland🇬🇭 #GhanaAt65”.
Away from that, Nigerian singer, Patoranking has opened up about his struggles and frustrations while dealing with poverty as a youngster coming up in the music business.
In a recent podcast conducted by gospel musician Tim Godfrey, Patoranking portrayed poverty as a battle he had no alternative but to win. He went on to say that he now wants other youngsters in the ghetto to know that they, too, can succeed.
In his submission he said: “Growing up, I had always known I would make it (be successful). Not because there was everything around me, but because that was the only option I had. Coming from the slum, poverty mindset does not give one the opportunity to think far. It was a fight and I won. I told myself I want to become a symbol of hope to other kids living in the slum. I want them to know it is possible for them to be successful,” .
